Green thumb

I don’t have a green thumb.  My mom could find a stick and plant it and it would grow.  Many times she tried to give me starts from her plants or give me house plants and I wouldn’t take them.  I would say “I’d just kill it.”  To which she would reply “Aw, Sharon, all you have to do is water them.”  Yea, right.  A little while after we moved into our current house, Paul planted a “dwarf” Lilac bush in the back corner.  All I have ever done to this bush is trim the wild branches that get in the way of mowing.  But every year it has more and more blooms on it.  This is it from last summer.
